Dorothy Anne Douglas


My Bio
Dorothy Anne Douglas is a 22 year old performer from Hampton, VA. She is a singer, dancer, actress, model, stage manager, and makeup artist. She has dedicated most of her life to pursuing the magic of musical theatre.
Dorothy graduated with highest honors from Bruton High School and the York County School of the Arts, she also studied tap, jazz, and ballet with the Performing Arts Connection in Hampton, VA and currently sings with the Bzdick Studio of Performance in Yorktown, VA. In Virginia, she's performed with the Williamsburg Players, Poquson Island Players, Peninsula Community Theatre, and Thomas Nelson Community College.
Recently Dorothy graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Performing Arts and a minor in Vocal Performance. In college, Dorothy actively encouraged and worked in student written and produced works.
In April 2018, Dorothy debuted as a writer alongside Frankie Alicandri as they presented their self-written cabaret event It's Not Over 'Til the Sad Girls Sing. Dorothy plans on expanding the cabaret and presenting the show as a one woman show in 2019.

In addition to artistic endeavors, Dorothy and her dog, Molly, are former competitors and national title holders of the world wide sport DockDogs. While competing, they also worked with and supported the charity Chase Away K9 Cancer.
